The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable provision of the website. The server log files are deleted after seven days.
The website is hosted by GoDaddy, engaged as a sub-processor by the web provider that develops and maintains this website on our behalf. Where this processing involves a transfer of personal data to the United States, the transfer takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which the hosting provider adheres.
Web analytics: Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service. The service is provided to users in Europe by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.
Google Analytics is used to understand how the website is used, which pages are consulted and from which countries visitors connect, so that the project can improve the information it provides and report on the reach of its communication activities.
The analytics script is not loaded until you have given your explicit consent through the cookie banner. If you do not consent, no analytics cookie is set and no analytics data is collected.
The following data may be collected through this service: cookie identifier, click path, interaction data, user behaviour, location information, and the technical data transmitted with each HTTP request (IP address, date and time of access, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL or page accessed).

Consent records

Newsletter
If you subscribe to our project newsletter, the data you enter in the input fields will be submitted to the entity responsible for data processing.
When a user registers for our newsletter, their IP address and the date and time of registration are saved. This is done to prevent a misuse of services or misuse of the individual’s e-mail address.
This data is only used to send the newsletter. The affected person can cancel their newsletter registration at any time. They can also revoke their consent to have their personal information saved at any time. A link is provided in each newsletter for this purpose.
Registration follows a double opt-in procedure. After submitting the form you receive a confirmation email, and you are added to the list only once you have clicked the confirmation link.
The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
The newsletter is distributed using Mailchimp, a service provided by Intuit Inc. (USA). Subscriber data is stored on Mailchimp servers. Transfers of personal data to the United States take place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses included in the Mailchimp data processing agreement.
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, the data you provide is processed for the sole purpose of handling your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to the performance of a contract.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed, and where that is the case, to access that data. You also have the right to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
